sometimes,
when you’re away from home and everything familiar, when you’ve left what makes you you so far away, it’s easy to get lost and let go of it.
but then you realize that what you’ve left behind, the real and tangible things, are just materials, that they don’t comprise your actual being, that they don’t define who you are. and then you find yourself again. you get lost in things you used to get lost in, you fall back into the person you are, the person you want to be. and it feels so good.
